Food that stimulates your hair growth

Do you want your hair to grow just a little faster than nature has in mind for you? These 10 foods seem to stimulate hair growth.
You are what you eat, and so it seems to work with the growth of your hair. I came across this list on the internet, with foods that stimulate hair growth. I made a very tasty smoothie from a number, you can find that recipe at the bottom of this article. Use it to your advantage!

1. Greek yogurt
Because: protein and vitamin B5! And that is a very suitable mix to give your hair a helping hand in terms of growth. The yogurt gets extra bonus points for vitamin D, which is recently linked to healthier hair follicles.

2. Pumpkin seeds
Pumpkin seeds contain a good dose of zinc, vitamin A and vitamin B, which makes your hair stronger. What is also in this powerful seed: biotin, which ensures that your locks grow faster and break down less quickly.

3. Figs
You could also call it an iron bomb. Iron stimulates circulation and hair growth, it is that simple. Of course, you can also find iron in a lot of vegetables (check 6).

4. Chia seed/ Flaxseed
Chia seed falls into the superfood category because of its high percentage of omega-3 fatty acids, fibers, antioxidants, and proteins and minerals. The combination of that already ensures strong nails and helps your hair grow.

5. Organic eggs
Do you often eat an egg? Keep doing. Egg are full of zinc, sulfur, and choline, which bring out the best in your hair: zinc regulates oil production in the hair follicles, sulfur strengthens your hair and choline improves flexibility so that you get as few split ends as possible.

6. Spinach
Because: iron and folic acid (vitamin B)! The two together form the winning team for your hair and the rest of your body.

7. Mussels
Because: zinc! An important mineral for the recovery (and growth) of your hair. So if you find yourself growing too slowly, it may be due to the low zinc content in your body. 1

8. Brussels sprouts
Because: vitamin C. Vitamin C is very important for healthy, beautiful, long hair. And let sprouts be a super source of vitamin C. Of course, fruit always works well, especially blueberries are vitamin C bombs.

9. Brown rice
Brown rice is packed with biotin, a B vitamin that helps improve hair elasticity. In addition, biotin reduces fragility, nourishes the hair follicle, and stimulates cell renewal.

10. Lentils
Because: protein, zinc, and iron! Zinc regulates the hormones that affect your hair growth. And according to recent studies, there is a link between iron deficiency and hair loss in women.
