How to Make a DIY Coffee Scrub For face and body

DIY Coffee Scrub For Face and Body: We all know how good it is to occasionally pamper your skin with a scrub.
It removes dead skin cells, makes your skin softer and smoother, and ensures that your skincare products absorb extra well.
But did you also know that it is actually even better for your skin to use a homemade, natural scrub?

If you’re prone to breakouts, the antioxidants in coffee can help reduce inflammation and unsightly redness. Coffee’s caffeine content and potent antioxidants give it powerful anti-inflammatory properties. Coffee Face Scrub is also a great face wash for oily skin in summer.

Why I prefer a homemade scrub

An average scrub or peeling product from the drugstore unfortunately often contains synthetic and harmful ingredients that you do not want on your skin or in your body.

In addition, regular scrubs often contain so-called microbeads; scrub particles that consist of very small plastic balls. These microbeads end up in the water purification systems through your shower drain, where they cannot be filtered because they are too small and unfortunately they often end up in seas and rivers, where they contribute to pollution.
